16th century luxury villa…
The Villa was originally built in 16th century, while it has been completely reconstructed under the daily supervision of conservators, every single part. The inside walls, South – West and East Wall has been prepared and finished in same original way as it was done in 16th century, while the North Wall is actually the original North Wall of the Palace itself, however it was revived and brought to the original state so now besides the glass, metal open view stairs You have a full view of the North Wall, from top to the bottom. It is a unique feature our guests can enjoy during their stay in the Villa.
The Villa is set within the UNESCO-protected Palace of Diocletian in Split, Villa Valeria is named after Diocletian’s daughter. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. The popular sandy beach of Bačvice is 1.5 km away.
All units are air-conditioned and come with a flat-screen TV. There is also a fully equipped kitchenette, with an oven, toaster and kettle, which is shared by the guests of the Villa. Restaurants, cafés, shops and several museums can be found in Villa Valeria’s immediate vicinity. Gregory of Nin, Split City Museum and the People’s Square are all within 100 metres from the property. Since the Diocletian Palace is strictly protected monument, it is pedestrian zone, no vehicles allowed, parking is therefore very limited. There are three public parking areas, on three sides of the Palace. Very crowded, charged per hour, especially during summer times. For our guests we have arranged parking 3km from the Palace, a parking covered with video surveillance and a daily guard. Our guest can enjoy this possibility on request, they will park their car on the parking and a driver will take them to the Palace. This service is charged separately, subject to how many guests have booked and for how many days.
